Aggies Helping Others Spring 2015 Update
Last April, Aggies Helping Others had its first fundraising event of 2015. The event was a great success helping the foundation by raising money which will defray the foundation’s start-up costs. The Aggies Helping Others Board of Directors wishes to thank all those who participated, the generous donors, and corporate sponsors.
Aggies Helping Others recently launched the foundation’s website: www.aggieshelpingothers.org. Please visit our site and help support the Aggies Helping Others foundation, as your donations support the foundation’s charitable endeavors.
A little more about Aggies Helping Others…in 2010, a group of Texas A&M Executive MBA class XII students decided to organize a food drive for the Houston Food Bank. A short five years later, the food drive has grown exponentially (from ~500 lb. donated in 2010 to over 40,000 lb. donated in 2014), but those same Texas A&M former students have launched this non-profit foundation, Aggies Helping Others.
In the true spirit of Texas A&M’s selfless service, the foundation strives to support the health and well-being of everyone in need, through donations, events, and special programs. Aggies Helping Others supports individuals and the community at large.
Great crawfish and entertaining conversation made for a fun fundraiser.
